Are you an Estimating or Preconstruction professional with a passion for construction technology, data visualization and AI?
Your new company is a leading construction company seeking a construction professional to help its estimating and preconstruction teams improve how project information is developed, analyzed and presented through digital tools, data visualization and emerging AI technologies.
As Senior Preconstruction Technology Engineer you will work hands-on with estimating teams to prepare conceptual and detailed estimates, develop interactive client-facing dashboards and integrate cost information with BIM models. You will also pilot AI-enabled workflows, improve access to historical cost data and support teams in adopting new technology.

Requirements
To be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Formal training and proficiency in data visualization technologies such as Power BI
- Expertise in Revit, SketchUp and AutoCAD, with knowledge of Navisworks and Bluebeam
- Strong proficiency in Power Apps, Power BI and Microsoft Office
- Developing expertise in AI agents and workflow automation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to train teams on digital tools
- Experience with Sage or Beck DESTINI Estimating and graphic design would be advantageous
