Commercial General Contractor seeking an Estimator to join its Preconstruction team. This opportunity is ideal for an Estimator with experience in hard bid estimating and exposure to industrial projects (desirable).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and overall project costs.
• Analyze historical cost data and current market trends to develop competitive estimates.
• Manage subcontractor solicitation, ensuring strong bid coverage and competitive pricing.
• Review bid scope sheets, subcontractor proposals, and quantity takeoffs for accuracy.
• Coordinate the estimating and bidding process, including the timely distribution of addenda.
• Perform detailed quantity surveys and subcontractor bid comparisons.
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to construction.
• Maintain accurate estimating documentation throughout the bid process.

• Up to $100,000 base plus benefits

• 2+ years of relevant estimating experience, preferably with a Commercial General Contractor.
• Experience with hard bid estimating (desirable).
• Strong understanding of construction costs, quantity takeoffs, and subcontractor pricing.
• Ability to review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
