Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in construction principles and practices.
  • Proven track record of success in preconstruction or estimating roles within the construction industry, showcasing expertise in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and project planning.
  • Proficiency in leading construction estimating software platforms (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, RSMeans), coupled with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build rapport with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities of a Senior Preconstruction Manager:

  • Lead all aspects of project planning and development in collaboration with the Preconstruction Manager, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.
  • Utilize advanced estimating techniques to compile comprehensive cost estimates, including materials, labor, and subcontractor bids, leveraging expertise in quantity take-offs to deliver accurate projections.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and documentation to identify potential challenges and opportunities, proactively addressing issues to optimize project outcomes.
  • Forge strong partnerships with architects, engineers, and subcontractors, harnessing collective expertise to streamline project coordination and enhance collaboration.
  • Drive value engineering initiatives to unlock cost-saving opportunities and maximize project efficiency, employing innovative strategies to deliver exceptional value to clients.
  • Craft compelling project proposals, meticulously detailing cost breakdowns, scheduling information, and value-added services to showcase our client's competitive advantage and expertise.
  • Cultivate client relationships through exemplary service and proactive communication, fostering trust and confidence in our client's ability to deliver exceptional results.
