We are working with a rapidly expanding, employee-owned General Contractor looking to appoint a senior Preconstruction Executive to support the continued growth of its Ground-Up construction business across the North Texas market.

The business has experienced exceptional growth, increasing from approximately $300M to $800M in revenue in just two years, with ambitions to exceed $2B in the coming year.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Preconstruction Manager, Director of Preconstruction or senior estimating professional who is ready to take the next step in their career.
The ideal individual will combine a strong technical estimating and preconstruction background with exceptional commercial awareness and client relationship skills.
This is not a traditional estimating leadership position. The focus is on developing and managing key client relationships, identifying opportunities and taking ownership of projects from the earliest stages of the preconstruction process.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships from initial engagement through the preconstruction and project development process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, developers, architects, consultants and other key industry stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for large-scale Ground-Up construction projects across the North Texas market.
• Utilise an established network of industry contacts to generate new business opportunities.
• Provide strategic estimating and preconstruction expertise during early project discussions.
• Oversee conceptual estimating, budgeting, cost planning and pricing strategies.
• Work closely with Business Development and Operations to identify, develop and secure new projects.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the project development process.
• Help position the company for larger projects, particularly those in the $100M+ range.
• Support the continued growth and development of the Ground-Up construction division.

• Significant experience in commercial construction preconstruction and estimating.
• Previous experience as a Preconstruction Manager, Director of Preconstruction, Senior Estimator or similar leadership position.
• Strong technical understanding of Ground-Up construction and the estimating process.
• Proven ability to manage and develop high-value client relationships.
• Strong commercial and business development capabilities.
• Established relationships within the North Texas construction market would be highly advantageous.
• Experience with large-scale industrial, distribution, warehouse or cold storage projects would be beneficial.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• A commercially driven individual who enjoys developing opportunities and building long-term relationships.
