We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator with a background in Healthcare construction to join one of the nations leading general contractors.

As the Senior Estimator, you will be given the autonomy to lead large scale & complex healthcare projects across the state of Florida. You will have extensive knowledge & experience leading these projects from initial conceptual estimate right through design to final close out. Capable of providing mentorship & guidance to to junior level preconstruction staff. You will be given the freedom to make high level decisions working alongside senior leadership to ensure the overall vision & goals of the Preconstruction department are achieved.

• Perform as lead Estimator on large scale Healthcare projects in excess of $150M
• Take up a senior position within the department working directly with VP.
• Work with one of the largest & award winning GC in the nation.
• $160k Base, Vehicle Allowance, Bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage preconstruction efforts for large-scale healthcare projects, including budgeting, estimating, scheduling, value engineering, and constructability analysis.
• Prepares complex cost estimates for competitive bids and negotiated proposals for multiple projects.
• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other project documents to identify potential risks, opportunities, and constructability issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other partners to ensure competitive pricing and availability of materials and services.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years estimating experience required.
• Additional experience in operations is a bonus
• Healthcare experience highly preferred.
