• Review, analyze and interpret bid documents to determine Scope of Work, identify risks and opportunities, and prepare detailed estimates;
• Calculate and prepare complete quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man hour, equipment and other required statistical data;
• Solicit subcontractor bids and vendor quotes;
• Prepare proposals and utilize independent judgment in determining final price quotations in a manner that awarded projects are attained and are profitable;

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2-year Associates Degree, preferred 4-year Bachelor’s Degree, with 5+ years experience in an estimating/preconstruction role;
• Extensive knowledge of construction business and an excellent command of the English language;
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
