They’re known for a collaborative, hands-on approach, low turnover, and empowering their team to take full ownership of their projects. As part of their continued growth, they’re looking to hire a Senior Estimator to strengthen their preconstruction team and help lead estimates on projects up to $20M.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the estimating process for assigned projects: concept budgeting, schematic estimates, design development pricing, and final bid submission.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs using digital tools (e.g., OST, Bluebeam).
• Review drawings, specifications, and related documents to develop complete scope and pricing strategies.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids; build comprehensive bid tabs and coverage analysis.
• Develop clear, detailed scopes of work for all trades and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate and participate in internal bid reviews and presentations to leadership.
• Maintain current unit pricing databases and historical cost records.
• Provide value engineering recommendations and cost-saving alternatives during design development.
• Support business development and preconstruction meetings with conceptual and detailed pricing as needed.
• Stay current with market conditions, trade coverage, and construction trends to ensure competitive and accurate

• 7+ years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction means, methods, and materials.
• Proven experience leading estimates on projects ranging from $5M to $20M.
• Proficiency in estimating tools and software (e.g., OST, Bluebeam, Procore, Excel).
• Solid understanding of trade sequencing and cost impacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines.
