A well established General contractor in New York is looking to add an experienced Millwork Estimator to their team. This role will support custom commercial and high end interior projects across the NYC market. The estimator will play a key role in pricing work accurately and supporting project wins.

Key Responsibilities

•  Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom millwork and interior woodwork packages.
•  Review architectural drawings, specifications, and finish schedules.
•  Complete takeoffs for casework, fixtures, trim, doors, and specialty millwork.
•  Solicit pricing from vendors and material suppliers.
•  Analyze labor, material, and subcontractor costs to build complete estimates.
•  Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities.
•  Support bid submissions and assist with clarifications during the award phase.
•  Work closely with project managers and production teams to ensure scope alignment.

• 3 or more years of estimating experience in millwork or interior construction.
• Strong understanding of shop drawings, architectural plans, and specifications.
• Experience pricing custom millwork for commercial or high end interiors.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids at once in a fast paced environment.
