Our client, an ENR Top100 General Contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator for their Kansas City, MO office.Key Responsibilities
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 7+ years experience, preferably with large projects
- True field operation experience
- Experience various delivery methods with negotiated, hard bid, design assist, GMP etc
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
On Offer
- Perform quantity take offs of mechanical, plumbing & piping
- Prepare estimates from conceptual through to construction documents
- Participate with buy out packages
- Attend design meetings
- Assist field operations with change order pricing
- Maintain current, working knowledge of MEP codes
- Collect/organize all bid information for input into historical cost database platform
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 7+ years experience, preferably with large projects
- True field operation experience
- Experience various delivery methods with negotiated, hard bid, design assist, GMP etc
