We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a fast paced & high functioning preconstruction team in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will have 3-7+ years of estimating experience and be responsible for overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely estimates for various market sectors, including Education, Light Industrial, Commercial, Aviation, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and timely quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to develop project scope and pricing strategies
• Review and analyze bid documents, including specifications, drawings, and contracts
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for projects of varying size and complexity
• Utilize estimating software to create and maintain project budgets and timelines
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 3-7+ years of estimating experience in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
