Our client is one of the most knowledgeable General Contractors in the DC Metro area with over 20 years of experience within the construction industry. Their diverse portfolio of projects includes Multifamily, Commercial, High rise & many more. Due to their ongoing success, they are looking to expand their Preconstruction team & are seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to join their DC Office! The ideal Senior Pre-Construction Manager will have excellent leadership qualities that allow him or her to take control of a bid or preconstruction services agreement and produce results. The Senior Pre-Construction Manager will spend the majority of their time in the office but may be required to visit project sites and owner offices.

• Eight years of related work experience, with three years in a lead preconstruction or estimating project role.
• Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related degree
• Knowledge of PlanSwift (or other takeoff software), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Building Connected (or other online bid solicitation software) and Bluebeam.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Must be detail oriented, technically sound, and have good communication skills.
• Must be familiar with both conceptual, detailed, and self-perform estimating.
• Knowledge and experience with the DC subcontractor market.
• Engagement or willingness to engage with DC area trade associations is preferred
