A leading general contractor is seeking a Senior MEP Estimator to take ownership of the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing scope across complex, large-scale projects. This role focuses on high-level estimating from early concept through GMP, working closely with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to deliver accurate, strategic cost plans.

Salary: $190,000 to $230,000 + bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Lead MEP estimating on large and complex projects
 • Prepare conceptual estimates, budgets, and GMP proposals
 • Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation
 • Develop detailed quantity take-offs and unit pricing
 • Manage subcontractor outreach, bidding, and selection
 • Conduct value engineering and risk analysis
 • Reconcile estimates and prepare cost comparisons
 • Build strong relationships with clients, designers, and trade partners
 • Support business development efforts, including presentations and interviews
 • Ensure quality control across all estimates and bid submissions

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
 • 8+ years of estimating experience
 • 5+ years focused on commercial construction estimating
 • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
 • Experience with estimating software such as Timberline or similar
 • Solid understanding of market conditions and pricing trends
