Position Overview

‍The Senior Estimator will take full ownership of concrete estimating for brownfield industrial projects. This role requires strong technical ability, field awareness, and confidence managing estimates from schematic to firm bid. The successful candidate will collaborate directly with project managers, engineers, and owners, with a clear path to leadership as the current Estimating Manager transitions toward retirement.

• $90K–$130K base salary, depending on experience
• Bonus potential up to $50K annually

Responsibilities

• Lead estimates for concrete scopes on industrial brownfield projects
• Collaborate directly with owners, engineers, and internal project managers
• Produce multiple estimates per week, often pricing jobs between $500K–$2M
• Attend site visits and build client relationships
• Use and adapt Excel-based templates for takeoff and pricing
• Support internal handoffs and contribute to subcontractor buyout

• 8–10+ years of concrete estimating or field operations experience
• Strong understanding of field execution and constructability
• Experience in brownfield industrial settings (chemical, pharma, pulp & paper)
• Familiarity with sitework, demolition, and existing facility constraints
• Proficiency with Excel (no formal software system)
• Methodical, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple bids simultaneously
