Responsibilities:

• Lead estimating on self-performed, hard bid, negotiated, and conceptual projects
• Manage bid process: subcontractor solicitation, bid document management, evaluation of proposals, and post-bid reviews
• Review and prepare estimates, studies, material/methods recommendations, and cost analyses
• Assist project teams with design, construction planning, execution, and completion
• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to stay informed on upcoming projects
• Gather and analyze historical cost data, trends, and methods to update standards and databases
• Participate in RFP/RFQ responses, presentations, pre-bid meetings, and bid strategy sessions
• Support business development efforts by assisting in marketing plans and client strategies
• Mentor and direct junior Estimators, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness
• Promote continuous improvement, Lean practices, and safety culture

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7 years of commercial construction estimating experience across multiple disciplines
• Strong skills in reviewing drawings, specifications, and proposals
• Ability to manage the full bid process and lead estimating teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to mentor junior estimators
