Responsibilities
- Establish and lead estimating work teams
- Attend client and design meetings
- Develop bid strategies and subcontractor solicitation lists
- Ensure full scope coverage across all trades
- Utilize BIM for quantity takeoffs
- Deliver constructability reviews, system analysis, and value management
- Compile, combine, and review all takeoffs and pricing
- Lead tab sheet reviews and support subcontract negotiations
- Assist operations with job cost budget development
- Manage turnover and transition meetings
- Develop owner deliverables including estimate summaries and clarifications
- Support RMP processes including preconstruction forecasting and reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of industry experience
- Strong conceptual estimating capability
- Experience managing preconstruction budgets and client expectations
- Proficiency in estimating and takeoff software
- Working knowledge of Autodesk software
- Ability to utilize BIM for quantity takeoffs
- Strong communication, organizational, and networking skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
