Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed electrical estimates throughout all phases of project development
• Develop accurate quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and design documentation
• Perform cost benchmarking and market analysis to support early project planning
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals, ensuring scope completeness and pricing accuracy
• Partner with Procurement teams throughout the bid evaluation and purchasing process
• Support value engineering initiatives by identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising project objectives
• Analyze project risks, scope gaps, and constructability considerations during the estimating process
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Construction, Scheduling, Cost Controls, and Project Management teams
• Maintain estimating databases, historical cost information, and pricing benchmarks
• Assist in procurement planning and contract award recommendations
• Support project teams throughout preconstruction and early construction phases

• 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator with an Electrical Contractor, Electrical Subcontractor, or General Contractor
• Proven experience estimating commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, or large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, labor productivity, and material pricing
• Experience preparing conceptual through detailed construction estimates
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, highly collaborative project environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting owner-side project controls or estimating teams.
• Background in manufacturing, automotive, semiconductor, energy, battery, or mission-critical construction
• Experience working closely with procurement and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Ability to present estimating methodologies and defend cost assumptions to cross-functional stakeholders
