I’m currently representing a growing General Contractor that has built a strong reputation delivering public-sector, municipal, educational, and community-focused projects throughout the Southeast.
Due to continued growth and expansion across Florida, they are looking to hire a high-level Preconstruction professional to help lead and grow their Florida operations.
This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Estimator or Preconstruction Manager who wants more than just another estimating position.
The company is looking for someone entrepreneurial, someone capable of helping drive pursuits, build relationships, identify opportunities, and play a key role in establishing a long-term presence in the Florida market.
The role will work directly with executive leadership and have significant visibility within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead preconstruction efforts for Florida pursuits and projects
- Identify and evaluate bid opportunities
- Manage go/no-go processes
- Prepare and oversee conceptual and hard bid estimates
- Attend pre-bid meetings and client meetings
- Build subcontractor and consultant relationships throughout Florida
- Track pipeline activity, bid results, and pursuit strategy
- Collaborate closely with operations and leadership teams
- Support long-term growth initiatives within the Florida market
- Assist in building future preconstruction infrastructure and team growth
Requirements
- Experience working for a General Contractor as a Senior Estimator or Preconstruction Manager
- Strong public-sector construction experience preferred
- Background in K-12, municipal, government, or civic projects highly desirable
- Experience managing pursuits and preconstruction processes
- Ability to work independently and help grow a market
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset
- Florida market knowledge preferred
- Ability to travel throughout Florida as needed
