Established Commercial GC

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all aspects of the preconstruction and estimating process
• Manage bid solicitation processes and maintain associated databases
• Prepare bid scope packages for trade partners and suppliers
• Create project estimates and revisions, perform takeoffs, and review specifications
• Review, analyze, and interpret drawings and project documents
• Coordinate and track preconstruction RFIs and manage document control
• Develop preliminary project schedules and logistics plans
• Manage value analysis efforts in support of projects
• Review and negotiate trade partner proposals for accuracy, scope, and competitiveness
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, design teams, trade partners, and suppliers
• Document all work clearly for internal and external communication and audits
• Capture and maintain historical project cost and estimating data
• Participate in industry events and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Minimum 2 years of commercial construction preconstruction or related project management experience
• Experience with CMAR and Design-Bid-Build delivery methods
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, trades, and scopes of work
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong math, analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (Preferred)
• Experience with preconstruction software such as On-Screen Takeoff, BlueBeam, Concntric, or BuildingConnected (Preferred)
