Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specifications to define full project scope and pricing strategy.
• Perform detailed takeoffs and develop conceptual and hard bid estimates.
• Prepare budgets and preliminary schedules aligned with contract terms.
• Maintain and update cost databases with current supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Lead estimating efforts for commercial public bid projects in the education sector.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and design teams to deliver accurate proposals.

• 5 to 8 years of construction estimating experience.
• Proven experience in commercial public bid work within the education sector.
• Highly self-motivated, and comfortable working independently as this role is remote.
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, sequencing, and scopes of work.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software systems.
• Background in site construction, civil, or athletic field projects preferred.
