Responsibilities
- Lead preconstruction services from conceptual budgeting through GMP
- Prepare conceptual estimates, value engineering studies, and cost plans
- Guide clients, architects, and engineers through the design development process
- Lead subcontractor bidding and scope development
- Conduct constructability and risk reviews
- Coordinate closely with operations for successful project turnover
- Mentor estimators and junior preconstruction staff
- Participate in pursuit strategy and client presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 7+ years of commercial or industrial preconstruction experience
- Strong conceptual estimating and budgeting experience
- Experience leading negotiated and design-build projects
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
