They are seeking a Preconstruction Leader to lead a high-performing team and play a critical role in shaping and securing major projects. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record managing large, complex builds and preconstruction efforts.

Salary: $220,000 base + exceptional benefits

Key Responsibilities

Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a preconstruction team of 10+ professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Project Oversight: Direct all preconstruction activities for projects valued at $100MM+, including detailed estimating, cost modeling, scheduling, risk analysis, and constructability reviews.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with Business Development, Operations, and Executive Leadership to drive winning pursuit strategies and client engagement.
Client Interface: Serve as a key point of contact for clients during preconstruction, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment from concept through execution.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement best-in-class preconstruction processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, subcontractor landscape, and material pricing to inform competitive and strategic decision-making.
Technology Leadership: Champion the use of advanced preconstruction tools including BIM/VDC, Procore, and estimating platforms.

• 15+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project management within a General Contractor
• Proven experience delivering projects valued at $100MM+, ideally in sectors such as sports, aviation, higher education, or large commercial
• Strong leadership experience managing and developing teams
• Deep understanding of construction methods, budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering
• Proficiency in tools such as OST, WinEst, Procore, Bluebeam, and BIM platforms
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
