Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed budget estimates by reviewing drawings and specifications.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and validate scopes of work across multiple trades.
• Develop and issue bid invitations to subcontractors and trade partners.
• Analyze pricing, resolve scope and cost gaps, and level bids.
• Develop and present project budgets, reports, and estimating deliverables.
• Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, and internal teams.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for trade partners and owners during preconstruction.
• Maintain awareness of building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience using on screen takeoff software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 - 5 years of construction or preconstruction experience preferred.
