Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP estimates across mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection scopes from concept through construction documents.
- Perform quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and constructability reviews to ensure accurate pricing and scope coverage.
- Build and manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to secure competitive and current pricing.
- Lead scope alignment, identify gaps, and evaluate subcontractor proposals to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and clients to resolve design and constructability challenges.
- Support project handoff to operations and contribute to value engineering and lifecycle cost analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of MEP estimating experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents for full cost analysis.
- Proven communication skills with the ability to present to internal teams and clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating tools, with ability to adopt new systems quickly.
