The Opportunity

My client is seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to lead its customer onboarding and implementation function. This role is responsible for managing a team of implementation professionals, driving operational excellence, and ensuring customers successfully adopt the platform from contract signing through to go-live.The successful candidate will be passionate about developing high-performing teams, improving implementation processes, and delivering an exceptional customer experience within a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for customer onboarding and software implementation.
  • Oversee implementation delivery, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and customers achieve a successful go-live.
  • Continuously improve implementation methodologies, playbooks, and customer onboarding processes.
  • Monitor team performance, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Track implementation metrics and identify opportunities to improve customer adoption and time-to-value.
  • Manage implementation risks, customer escalations, and operational challenges.
  • Support the ongoing growth and scalability of the implementation function.
  • Travel to customer sites and company events as required (approximately 20–30%).

Requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years' experience in Implementation, Professional Services, or Customer Success within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Previous people management or team leadership experience.
  • A proven track record of improving implementation processes within a high-growth business.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience using KPIs to improve team and customer performance.
  • Experience within construction technology, estimating, or preconstruction software is advantageous but not essential.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, Notion, Mixpanel, or similar tools is beneficial.
