Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Assist with conceptual budgets and GMP development.
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Participate in value engineering exercises.
- Support bid submissions and proposal preparation.
- Coordinate closely with project managers during project turnover.
Requirements
- 3+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor.
- Experience in estimating commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, OST, or similar estimating software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
