Responsibilities
- Create estimates for assigned scopes of work
- Lead vendor solicitation for assigned trades
- Negotiate pricing and own contracts for assigned scopes
- Develop bid package scopes and assist with bid manual creation
- Support management of historical cost data and estimating software database
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate quantity takeoffs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of industry experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Proficiency in estimating and takeoff software
- Working knowledge of Autodesk software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple scopes
- Team-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
