Responsibilities

• Send RFPs, track subcontractor bids, and analyze bid packages for accuracy and competitiveness
• Complete material takeoffs for building materials purchased directly
• Develop cost estimates using Timberline and maintain accurate cost history data
• Review specifications and drawings to identify cost and logistical impacts
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Stay up to date with market trends and provide cost feedback throughout preconstruction
• Collaborate closely with project managers and development teams to ensure project success

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
• 2+ years of estimating experience, ideally in multifamily or commercial construction
• Familiarity with local subcontractor markets preferred
• Proficiency in Timberline, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple estimating activities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and proactive approach
