Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee preconstruction efforts across the healthcare portfolio
  •  Guide estimating teams to align budgets with scope and company strategy
  •  Oversee constructability reviews, early planning, and project pursuits
  •  Manage subcontractor engagement, buyouts, and key trade relationships
  •  Oversee project planning, execution strategies, and resource alignment
  •  Provide executive support on risk management, logistics, and project startup
  •  Ensure project schedules align with clinical operations and downtime constraints
  •  Oversee contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements
  •  Lead negotiations on complex contractual terms and mitigate risk
  •  Own financial performance across the portfolio including forecasting and profitability
  •  Drive process improvements, technology adoption, and delivery consistency
  •  Champion safety culture and ensure compliance across all projects
  •  Build and maintain executive-level client relationships
  •  Support business development, proposals, and client interviews
  •  Mentor PMs, SPMs, and project teams to build future leadership pipelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, advanced degree preferred
  • 12 to 15+ years of progressive construction and project management experience
  • Strong experience delivering healthcare or hospital projects
  •  Deep understanding of healthcare construction regulations and compliance
  •  Proven track record managing large-scale projects and portfolios
  •  Strong financial management and contract negotiation skills
  •  Experience managing executive-level client relationships
  •  Proficiency in project management and financial systems
  •  Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
  •  Ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels
