Salary: $170,000 – $200,000

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating efforts on complex projects from pursuit through buyout
• Prepare conceptual budgets across all design phases
• Perform detailed take-offs across all trades
• Lead estimate reviews, clearly outlining scope, risks, and pricing strategy
• Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
• Provide input on constructability, phasing, and logistics
• Manage the full bid process, including subcontractor outreach and bid leveling
• Identify and resolve scope gaps, overlaps, and risks
• Build and maintain strong subcontractor and vendor relationships
• Collaborate with clients, design teams, and internal operations

• College degree preferred
• 10+ years of estimating experience
• Experience across ground-up and large-scale renovation projects
• Strong knowledge of GMP estimating and bid leveling
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with value engineering
• Knowledge of the New York market and subcontractor base preferred
