I'm collaborating with a nationally ranked general contractor renowned for its expertise in complex industrial and manufacturing projects across the Southeast. With a robust project pipeline and continued growth, they're seeking an experienced Senior MEP / Process / Controls Estimator to enhance their preconstruction team in Gainesville, GA.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead estimating efforts for mechanical, electrical, process piping, and automation/control systems on large-scale industrial and manufacturing projects.
• Collaborate with in-house engineering and preconstruction teams to develop detailed cost estimates and value engineering solutions.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate take-offs and pricing.
• Develop scopes of work, solicit and evaluate subcontractor pricing, and manage bid-leveling activities.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as needed.

• 7+ years of estimating experience with a focus on MEP, process piping, and/or controls.
• Strong background in industrial, food/beverage, Education, and commercial sectors.
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Sage, WinEst, Trimble) and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work closely with project teams, engineers, and subcontractors in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and technical review skills.
