With a strong presence across commercial, healthcare, mission critical, aviation, advanced manufacturing, and mixed-use sectors, they are known for technical excellence, innovation, and a collaborative project delivery approach.
Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Estimator to join their Denver preconstruction team.

The Senior MEP Estimator will play a key role in leading all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection estimating efforts across large-scale construction projects. This individual will be heavily involved from early conceptual budgeting through GMP development and final pricing while working closely with clients, design teams, operations, and trade partners.

Key Responsibilities
MEP Estimating & Cost Management
- Lead conceptual, schematic, and detailed MEP estimating efforts across all project phases
- Prepare accurate budgets, cost plans, GMPs, and bid packages
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing analysis for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and BIM models to develop comprehensive estimates
- Identify risks, scope gaps, escalation impacts, and value engineering opportunities
- Maintain current knowledge of market pricing, labor trends, and material costs within the Denver and Rocky Mountain region
Preconstruction Leadership
- Partner with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams throughout preconstruction
- Provide real-time pricing feedback during design development
- Support constructability reviews and project planning discussions
- Assist in developing procurement and buyout strategies
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and preconstruction interviews
Technology & Systems
- Utilize estimating and preconstruction tools such as OST, Bluebeam, WinEst, Trimble, Procore, and BIM/VDC platforms
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within preconstruction processes and systems
Requirements
- 8+ years of MEP estimating experience with a General Contractor or major MEP subcontractor
- Proven experience delivering estimates on large-scale commercial construction projects valued at $50M+
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Experience with conceptual estimating, hard bids, negotiated GMPs, and value engineering
- Proficiency with OST, Bluebeam, Procore, WinEst, Trimble, and/or BIM platforms
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and current market pricing
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative preconstruction environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
