With a strong reputation for quality, collaboration, and steady growth, they deliver a diverse mix of ground-up and interior projects across education, healthcare, multifamily, and commercial sectors.The firm is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their preconstruction team in Baltimore, MD. This person will play a key role in all phases of the estimating process and work closely with company leadership on upcoming projects.
The Opportunity
As Senior Estimator, you’ll take ownership of conceptual and detailed estimates, lead subcontractor outreach, and support the VP of Preconstruction and Operations on high-value pursuits. This is a hands-on role within a tight-knit team that values accuracy, integrity, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates, cost models, and bid proposals for both ground-up and interior projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to identify cost-saving opportunities and risks
- Manage subcontractor relationships and coordinate bid coverage
- Support preconstruction planning, value engineering, and design-build pursuits
- Collaborate directly with leadership and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements
- 8–10+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor
- Proven experience with both ground-up and interior renovation projects
- Strong understanding of cost structures across education, healthcare, multifamily, and commercial markets
- Proficiency with OST (On-Screen Takeoff) and related estimating tools
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills
