Responsibilities
- Support and lead preconstruction efforts across multiple projects.
- Prepare estimates across hard bid, CM at risk, and negotiated work.
- Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Assist in managing bid strategy and subcontractor relationships.
- Learn existing systems and transition into leading the preconstruction function.
Requirements
- 6+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience.
- Background in public or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of the Virginia Beach / Norfolk subcontractor market.
- Comfortable in a client-facing role.
- Ambition to step into a leadership position.
