Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed project studies
• Develop preliminary estimates during preconstruction phases
• Lead preconstruction meetings when required
• Monitor design development costs and identify potential overruns
• Support value engineering efforts throughout the project lifecycle
• Interface with subcontractors and suppliers to evaluate proposals and scope coverage
• Understand client needs and manage preconstruction processes efficiently
• Support proposal presentations and preconstruction planning efforts
• Review project schedules and advise leadership of risks or delays
• Collaborate with operations and project stakeholders to ensure successful project turnover

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of estimating or preconstruction experience
• Field experience is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with estimating and scheduling software preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
