Responsibilities
- Lead preconstruction activities from early conceptual budgeting through final estimate and handoff.
- Act as a key preconstruction contact for clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop conceptual budgets and provide value management recommendations.
- Manage project budgets and ensure client requirements are met throughout preconstruction.
- Lead and organize preconstruction, OAC, and design meetings.
- Develop and review general conditions, project schedules, and below-the-line costs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and trade partners.
- Review project cost reports and subcontract agreements.
- Coordinate closely with operations teams throughout the preconstruction process.
- Manage preconstruction status reporting, schedules, and deliverables.
- Mentor and support other members of the preconstruction team.
- Assist with business development and subcontractor networking.
Requirements
- 8+ years of construction industry experience.
- Previous Mission Critical or Aviation project experience required.
- Strong conceptual estimating and budgeting experience.
- Experience delivering full preconstruction services for a General Contractor.
- Strong understanding of construction logistics and operations.
- Experience with estimating and takeoff software.
- Knowledge of Autodesk software preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong client-facing, communication, and leadership skills.
