A leading construction contractor is seeking an Estimator to join its Pre-Construction team. This individual will support the Estimating function and Pre-Construction leadership across all aspects of the estimating process, including quantity take-offs, pricing, and bidding for commercial and industrial construction projects.

• Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates incorporating correct alternates, general conditions, labor production rates, wage rates, and vendor/subcontractor pricing in alignment with overall bid strategy.

• Perform comprehensive quantity take-offs, taking ownership from take-off software through identification and quantification of all concrete scope items.

• Support bid development through accurate pricing, scope coverage, and coordination with internal stakeholders.

• Provide clear, accurate project information to operations and project teams during turnover and planning phases.

• Validate that complete and detailed estimate information is transferred to the operations team to ensure effective project execution planning.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

• Prior estimating experience with a self-perform general contractor or concrete contractor is a plus.

• Exposure to a range of project types, with an emphasis on commercial and industrial construction preferred.

• Solid understanding of construction principles and practices, with experience on projects valued over $1M.

• Working knowledge of budgeting, negotiated work, and hard-bid projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
