Better Construction Estimator Salary Helps Retain Talent

‍Preconstruction companies can forget about retaining their estimators if they don’t ensure a regular wage and bonus increases, according to the Niche SSP poll on construction estimator salary

In its survey, the company asked 2,771 construction estimators about the best “thing companies can do to retain preconstruction talent”. 

In response, 39% of the surveyed estimators said the companies should reward them with regular wages and bonus increases.

Another 37% of the estimators say the companies should improve culture and provide them with a work from home option to retain their talent.

It’s imperative to facilitate estimators these days as completion of construction projects, notorious for exceeding costs, within a budget becomes a complex challenge. 

The construction estimator salary poll further states that 21% of estimators feel that preconstruction companies should promote employees from within the organizations to retain them. 

A mere 3% of the estimators believe that companies should update technology regularly to keep their employees from leaving them.
